CONSULTATIONS- A consultation is a important opportunity to freely express your concerns, ask questions and fully understand the services available.
Consultations are scheduled for one guest per consultation. Please do not bring any guests with you to your consultation appointment.
APPOINTMENT TIME- We much rather work around your schedule. Instead of you working around ours. To ensure an appointment time that is most convenient for you. We ask that all clients pre book appointment whenever possible. Returning clients are asked to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, and first-time clients arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment for an initial consultation.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION- As a courtesy we will make every attempt to confirm all appointments 24 to 48 hours in advance. It is up to you to decide if you want to receive your confirmation via text or email. We ask that you reply as soon as possible upon receipt of our confirmation attempt. Please let us know when there are changes made to your contact information.
LATE ARRIVAL- Due to the nature of our business and scheduling commitments to all of our clients, we try with every effort to stay timely. In the event that you are 15-20 minutes late for your scheduled appointment please call it may be necessary to re-adjust your appointment time or we may have to reschedule your appointment. We will do our best to also contact you in the event we are running behind (be sure we have all contact numbers on file).
CANCELATIONS - Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance for hair care services and 48 hours for hair extension services if you can not keep your appointment. Clients with excessive amount of cancelations or no-show may loose their appointment privileges.
EXTRA VISITORS- Our facility is designed to accommodate customers that are receiving services only. Please do not bring extra visitors with you to wait during your scheduled salon service visit. No pets are allowed.
CELL PHONES- Please refrain from cell phone conversations during services. Please put phone on vibrate.
SALON PHONE CALLS- When calling outside normal business please leave a message and your call will be returned at our earliest convenience once business hours have resumed.
SERVICES & PRICES- Due to the various techniques, time and individual needs of each client. Prices are subject to change.
DEPOSITS– Some services require a deposit at the time the appointment is scheduled. Deposit is non refundable and non transferable if appointment is cancel.
GRATUITIES- 10% -20% is customary. If you wish to leave a gratuity you may do so directly with your service provider or with our front desk staff with either a check or cash. Your first visit you may tip on your credit card. Gratuities envelopes are available at the front desk to put your name and the service provider(s) of your choice.
RETURN POLICY- If any hair care product recommended by a member of our team is not performing in the manner you expected, you may return the gently used product(s) along with the original receipt within two weeks of purchase for an exchange or store credit. Make-up may be returned unopened with the original receipt within two weeks of purchase. Jewelry, Hair Accessories, Boutique, and/or sale and clearance items may not be returned. Any refund given for a return will be refunded in the same manner as the purchase except for a personal check or gift card payment. Those types of purchases will be refunded with a credit to the purchasers salon account.
ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT- Mirror Mirror Salon is pleased to accept cash, MasterCard and Visa (debit/credit) Personal Checks are accepted from existing clients ONLY (pre-approved by Owner).
PREPARATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT- When arriving for your appointment, please be ready to be serviced. The removal of braids, extensions, twists, or detangling incurs additional time and charges. If you desire braid or Extension Removal Services please inform the staff at the time of scheduling. There will need to be additional time allotted for you and there will be additional fees, as this is a separate service.
CHEMICAL SERVICES- It is best that you do not shampoo your hair for at least 48 hours prior to your service. If you have worn braids or weave extensions prior to arriving for a chemical service, please inform your stylist as to when you had them removed. This is necessary to insure the health of your hair and scalp for optimum results. If under the age of 18 you must be accompanied with a parent or legal guardian to approve your service and sign a wavier for our file.
CLIENT SATISFACTION- By leaving the salon after your service you are agreeing that you are satisfied with your hair. Mirror Mirror strives for customer satisfaction, so please inform us at the time of your appointment if there is anything that you would like to be changed. Anything that needs to be fixed at a later time or date may be subject to another fee.
PROFESSIONALISM- Professionalism is expected in our salon. Please refrain from making any racial comments, cursing or any inappropriate behavior that could be considered disrespectful to other salon patrons. Inappropriate conduct or language prior to and/or during a service will result in the termination of the service. Mirror Mirror reserves the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct, tardiness, no shows or any other situation we deem inappropriate.
LOST ARTICLES- Clients are asked to keep up with their personal items during your visit. We are not responsible for lost articles.
